FAQs
Can I swap the keycaps?
Yes…but! The FORM uses standard Cherry MX style stems. It is compatible with any low-profile style keycap. Many traditional profile keycap sets will also work, but some styles that have a taller “skirt” cause the keycap to bottom out on the case BEFORE the switch registers. So do your research and make sure your keycap set is returnable.
How does it work with a Mac?
The FORM was optimized for use with Windows but it works pretty great with macOS, iPhone, and iPad too.
- Gestures: Unfortunately Apple does not make their gestures available to 3rd party touchpads.
- Mac Layout: Visit this page to download the Mac Firmware file and for instructions for flashing the firmware on to your keyboard. Then install the included 6 Mac keycaps
Does the touchpad physically click?
No, the FORM touchpad is tap-to-click only. There is no physical click or simulated haptic feedback.
Is the Form programmable?
No, but maybe in the future…
